Guesthouse-hostel in a 19th-century Tuscan villa near the medieval village of Certaldo, with shared and private rooms, coworking and community workshops. Borderline case: it works more like a rural hostel and recent reviews complain about slow wifi, which hinders remote work.
Santa Croce Camerina, Ragusa, Sicily
Rural coliving and coworking in a centuries-old Sicilian masseria, with private apartments and shared rooms, high-speed wifi, garden, animals, pool and an international community.
Putignano, Puglia

Riposto, Sicily
Women-only community coliving and retreat in a Sicilian house by the sea, with powerful wifi and private desks designed for digital nomads. Borderline case: it is a women-only space with a strong retreat component, although remote work is an explicit part of the offering.

Rural coliving in a historic 1917 masseria among olive groves, with a desk in every room, community dinners, activities and real connection with the neighbours and the local family. Highly valued for the sense of community and family created by the hosts.
Manegra, Oggebbio (VB), Piedmont
Community house for digital nomads and remote workers in the foothills above Lake Maggiore, with shared meals, yoga, coworking and forest. At least one of the four owners always lives in the house.
Civitanova Marche, Le Marche
Country house converted into coliving and coworking among hills and nature, with private rooms and apartments, garden, infinity pool and a community host. Aimed at travellers, tourists and freelancers; more of a hotel-like structure than pure coliving, but with a community component.
Orte, Lazio
Small intentional rural coliving in a 7-room villa with a 10.000 m² garden and pool, 1 hour north of Rome. Opened in July 2025, with the 2026 season sold out and a waiting list for March–November 2027; guest selection and long stays.
Mugello forest, near Vicchio, Tuscany
Rural coliving and coworking in a historic hamlet inside the Mugello forest, with regenerative agriculture, shared kitchen, events and connection with the local community. One hour by direct train from Florence.

Rural creative hub and distributed coliving born from a small village house, centred on living and working together in rural areas of Sardinia. Organises seasonal creative residencies (e.g. tARTufo, July–August 2026); no bookable continuous stay, so marked as a project.

Rural regeneration project in a Lucanian village that calls its medium and long stays for remote workers 'rural coliving', integrated with village life. Borderline case: it is a social regeneration enterprise rather than conventional coliving, and it only has 2 rooms (Wonder Casa).
